Students are grouped into three classes which allows for easy access of cross-age tutoring, peer support and naturally allows for various levels of learning readiness and maturity, while enabling senior students to readily demonstrate leadership skills.
Most class programs are broadly grouped into Junior, Middle and Upper, and developed through a two - three year cycle system. This ensures that students experience a learning program which is balanced and has continuity over their Primary Schooling.
In the classroom teachers have organised their curriculum around the area of study-:
- Religious Education,
- The Arts,
- Studies of Society and The Environment,
- Science and Technology,
- Physical Education and,
- Personal Development.
Specialists classes offered to implement Ausvels
The groupings for this are:
L.O.T.E. (Language Other Then English --Indonesian) is taught by a specialist teacher for one hour per class per week.
Each class is for one hour per week, with each level. This provision allows for release from teaching duties for classroom teachers.
P.E. is for one hour per week
History is for 45 minutes
There is a specialist Art Program.
