​MATHEMATICS

The Mathematics program incorporates elements of Ausvels Success in Numeracy Education, Extending Mathematical Understanding (EMU), Curriculum & Organisation Framework for Maths P-12 (Ministry of Education -Victoria) and the Numeracy for All Teaching Units, Riverina Region (Department of School Education).
The Mathematics program is closely related to the familiar, everyday environment. The program structures are flexible and sequential, providing the children with easily managed developmental steps and allowing them to experience continued success. Student progress is monitored using regular checklists and assessments.

 Standards in the Mathematics domain are organised in five dimensions:

• Working mathematically
